About
Osiep Nyathi is a community-based organization registered in Kenya. In rural Kenya, young girls and boys often drop out of school and fail to live their dreams. Osiep Nyathi is committed to improving the lives of young girls and boys through empowerment projects and at the same time fight gender inequalities that limit opportunities for young girls in the country.
In Kenya alone, approximately 50 percent of school-age girls do not have access to sanitary products.
Our Mission
We seek to empower girls to realize their full potentials through career mentorship, acquisition of social life skills and striving to end period poverty by providing menstrual hygiene products.
Our Vision
To increase the transition rate of girls from primary to secondary schools and increase school attendance for girls during their monthly periods.
